What we’ve all been waiting for is finally upon us. DON’T MISS OUT!


Sunday 14th December 2008 is the official launch date for ‘Bigger Than Yours’ presented by WWTQ.
It is a world wide competition for all of the world’s talented bands, dj’s, mc’s, vocalists… any musician that wants to get out there.

Here’s what you need to do:
Visit
http://www.wwtq.net and create your profile. Then upload a music file for £50 to be judged by the public. We’ll supply you with a link and image that you can forward onto your friends and post on myspace or facebook to get your friends voting. After 7 days of voting the public’s favourite tunes will be passed onto our world famous judging panel.

Our judges will pick their favourite and the winner will receive £10,000 CASH!

Slide guitarist Adam Hole and Marji Curran Trio will be performing live at the Vally Tavern in Wanniassa Thursday the 4th Dec. Show starts at 8pm

Since forming in 2004, The Adam Hole and Marji Curran Trio have gone from strength to strength. Returning from sell out performances at The Bay Of Islands Jazz and Blues Festival in New Zealand, The Toyota Gympie Muster in QLD and touring in Tasmania, WA and the east Coast, they recently blew audiences away with their unique and original sound at The Narooma Blues and Rockabilly Festival.

This successful blues and roots trio are one of Australia’s most exciting live acts on the circuit today. Marji’s exceptional song writing, distinct vocals and guitar playing combined with the musical talents from one of Australia’s hottest slide guitarists Adam Hole and percussionist extraordinaire Phoebe Juskevics leave audiences wanting more after every show. With Adam Hole on vocals/slide guitars giving a real and raw gutsy sound with foot stomping grooves the Audience are captured straight away.
This foot stomping, awesome slide guitar, driving and experimental rhythms trio have been wowing audiences all over Australia. They deliver songs with a powerful edge and an engaging stage chemistry that is luring crowds from everywhere.

Hello dudes and dudets..

Well, this is the last newsletter - I have listed all the bands (pretty sure all of them!) at the bottom of the page - A big thank you to all of them :) A couple of other people to thank - Thunderguns, Eystan, Lara, Cindy xo, Jay Rad, Steve Fkn Gray, Andi, Steph, George, Wayne, Nova, Greg Willy, JT, Mickelback, Trav, Jake, Bags, Dad and most of all Emma xo.. Also thanks to all the agents we have delt with over the years and our all our regulars - it has been fun and to say the least, seen some weird stuff - if only the walls could talk!

Pot Belly Battle of the Bands

This just in….

“My name is Sean and I’m running the Pot belly Battle of the Bands commencing this Saturday 1st November, every year its held its a wonderful celebration of up and coming acts plus a useful forum for established bands to continue plying there wares. Unfortunately this year there seems to be a lack of bands, this is not out of any form of disenchantment or alike emotion but more due to the fact that the original dates I was given were wrong so the bands who were booked have to a large extent had to pull out due to scheduling conflicts. So I’m putting a shout out to all people who love music to contact all the bands they know, or at least alert them to this post or the link below because I NEED them, for this Saturday and following Saturdays throughout November.
