The Hard ACT to Follow project has chosen which bands it aims to record in upcoming months for possible inclusion on a live compilation CD of the ACT region’s best rock, metal and punk bands.

This list may or may not be representative of what gets included on the final compilation as we may not get the chance to record some bands within the project time frame, bands may break up or decide not to be involved etc.

WorldWideTalentQuest Rocks!

January 30th, 2009

New worldwide competition for unsigned singers, producers & bands

WorldWideTalentQuest - WWTQ has been created to promote the talent of amateur and professional singers and musicians worldwide. It is an innovative music competition for unsigned artists, bands, singers or producers looking for the chance to have their sounds discovered and their music careers jumpstarted!

WWTQ gives unsigned artists a platform to showcase their talent, along with an opportunity for exposure on a worldwide level, with prizes between $1,000 AUD and $25,000 AUD.

WWTQ differs from other music talent quests in that it is not restricted to one genre or style. What we are trying to do is provide a web presence for artists to encourage the development of their talent. A secondary purpose is to enable the artists to win cash to assist with the development of their skills and talent.

WWTQ is open to any producer, artist, band or singer creating new sounds in the realms of indie, rock, dance, electronic, RnB, hip hop, classical, jazz and pop music.

Our standard WWTQ concerts are judged entirely by the public. That’s your public, your friends. We also hold Super Concerts which are both industry and publicly judged.

How the competition works

It’s a worldwide website so anyone from anywhere can enter at any time, with any type or style of music.
